Membership
Why is your SPCA membership so important?
  • Saving lives takes compassion, skill – and money.
  • SPCA, Inc. receives no funds from United Way, the State, ASPCA or any national organizations. We rely on your donations, memberships and bequests.
  • More than 10,000 animals are surrendered to our shelter annually.
  • Every dollar of your tax-deductible membership goes directly to help the animals at our Lakeland adoption center and spay/neuter clinic.
  • In seven years our spay/neuter clinic has sterilized over 50,000 dogs and cats. Your donation is essential to meet the expense of these procedures and to reduce animal overpopulation.
  • If you cannot care for 10,000 homeless animals next year…if you cannot spay or neuter 6,000 dogs and cats to prevent the euthanasia or their 60,000+ unwanted offspring, send your annual membership donation, and we’ll do it for you and for the animals.
