Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Where do we park? 
A: Park along Lake Hollingsworth or along the sides of Patten Heights. 

Q: Where does the 5K race start?
A: In the parking lot of the Lakeland Yacht Club at 8 a.m. Get there early to get your ticket number and t-shirt.

Q: What if my dog can’t walk all the way around LakeHollingsworth? 
A: Walk only the distance that is comfortable for you and your dog.  If you cannot walk, stay in our exhibit area and enjoy the activities, contests, vendors and refreshments.  

Q: Can anyone enter the contests?  
A: Contests are open to anyone who has raised at least $50.

Q: If I can’t attend on April 17 can I still turn in money and be eligible for prizes? 
A: Yes, you can turn in money and receive prizes at the SPCA on Friday, April 16 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
