QUOTE
Heaven goes by favor. If it
went by merit, you would
stay out and your dog would
go in.

The Foster Program at the SPCA can be a very rewarding experience. Puppies and kittens get second chances to have extra tender loving care when they are sick, too young, and sometimes have special needs. As a foster parent you provide your home where they can receive love and attention. We provide everything else. We make sure that you have food and toys. Just fill out this form to get started and Donna, Foster Care Coordinator, will get in contact with you. You can contact Donna at foster@lovemyspca.com or by calling 863.646.SPCA (7722) Ext. 123.

  • Furbaby Beginnings
Young animals are at more risk for getting sick in a shelter environment. Being in a home environment will allow them to get the socialization they need to grow up healthy. It is less stressful and the puppies and kittens can romp and play.
  • Feel Better Soon
This program allows for injured or sick animals to go to a foster home while they are rehabilitated. Some animals would have to be transported to appointments at vet’s offices or to the shelter to receive care. Often medications have to be given. Once they are healthy, they can return to the shelter to be adopted.
