Meet Hobo! She is a 10-year-old Beagle mix. Her human mother had to enter a nursing home and was unable to take her. It was quite a tearful good-bye as she had been with her “mom” for over nine years.

Some SPCA pets and volunteers are heading to the UPS Store in Plant City located at 117 West Alexander Street. We will be there from 10 a.m. until noon on Saturday, June 14. This event will culminate a week-long donation drive that has been occurring throughout the Plant City area with the drop off point at the UPS Store.

A gentleman from Tennessee noticed a wandering Coonhound on Griffin Road over three months ago. He attempted to coerce the dog into his arms to find her some help, and his efforts finally paid off yesterday.

A pit mix was apparently hit by a car and left for dead on Shepherd Road in Lakeland. A fractured pelvis and fractured right elbow left him unable to walk.
